Students Terms and Conditions

  1. INTRODUCTION

Aura International School of Management (AISM) is a private institution offering management programs at the BBA, MBA, and EMBA levels. By proceeding with your enrollment, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read this document thoroughly to understand your obligations as a student at AISM. Should you have any questions, you can contact us at info@aura-lyon.com.

  1. REGISTRATION

2.1 Upon completing the admission process (online application, document review, and interviews), you will receive a “Letter of Acceptance – Conditional” (LOA-Conditional) and details for payment. To confirm your registration, the full academic tuition fees and administration fees must be paid. Upon receipt of payment, the “Letter of Acceptance – Official” (LOA-Official) will be issued.

2.2 AISM reserves the right to terminate your registration if:

  • False information is provided during the application process.
  • You are involved in criminal activity or possess forged documents.
  • Your actions conflict with the legal requirements for study in France.
  • You violate French law or AISM’s regulations.
  • You exhibit aggressive or inappropriate behavior toward students, staff, or others.

  1. RULES AND REGULATIONS

3.1 Students from outside the EU must have a valid student visa to attend courses in France.

3.2 A minimum of 80% attendance is required to sit for final exams and to qualify for internships. Failure to meet this condition may lead to additional courses, fees, or expulsion from the program. Visa-holding students who do not maintain sufficient attendance will be reported to French authorities, potentially leading to visa revocation.

3.3 Students must adhere to all school policies and codes of conduct.

3.4 Punctuality is Mandatory. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late for class will not be permitted to enter and will be marked as absent. This policy is strictly enforced to maintain a serious and focused learning environment. Repeated tardiness may result in disciplinary action, including additional fees or removal from the program. Timeliness is crucial, and students are expected to respect class schedules at all times.

  1. FEES & PAYMENTS

4.1 Tuition and administrative fees must be paid in full before the start of the academic year. Students with outstanding balances will not be allowed to attend classes. In the event of visa refusal, the school will refund tuition fees (excluding administrative fees) within 60 working days following submission of the Refund Form.

4.2 Fees cover tuition and administration costs only. Students are responsible for all additional expenses, including uniforms, books, accommodation, and personal expenses.

4.3 Once the visa is granted, no refunds will be provided, and the admission cannot be canceled.

  1. ACADEMICS & STUDIES

5.1 Program changes are allowed within 15 days of registration if deemed appropriate by management.

5.2 Active participation is required in all classes, assessments, and examinations. Students failing to meet academic standards or maintain satisfactory progress may be expelled in accordance with academic regulations.

5.3 Internships are mandatory for program completion. While AISM facilitates interviews with partner companies, it is not responsible if a student fails to secure or maintain an internship.

5.4 AISM reserves the right to modify the curriculum to meet industry standards and improve education quality.

  1. GENERAL RULES

6.1 This contract is solely between AISM and the student. No third parties are permitted to represent the student in academic or non-academic matters.

6.2 Students may work part-time, up to 20 hours per week, in accordance with French law. However, employment must not interfere with academic obligations or be the primary reason for staying in France.

6.3 AISM staff reserves the right to deny entry to students who are not wearing the school uniform, display poor hygiene, behave disrespectfully, or fail to meet financial obligations.

  1. DATA PROTECTION

AISM complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By signing this document, students consent to the use of their image for school marketing and communication purposes.
