Students Terms and Conditions

  1. Aura International School of Management (Aura) operates campuses in Lyon and Paris, offering various business and hospitality management programmes. By signing this contract, the student agrees to comply with the policies and regulations set out by the school. This contract ensures clarity on academic obligations, fees, and student responsibilities.
    1. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

    2.1 Upon passing the admission interview, the student will receive a Conditional Letter of

    Acceptance (LOA-Conditional), along with bank details and this contract.

    2.2 Registration is confirmed only upon payment of the full tuition fees for the academic year.

    2.3 The Student must read and sign this contract before proceeding with payment.

    2.4 After payment, the student must submit proof of payment along with the signed contract.

    2.5 Once fees are received, the student will be issued the Official Letter of Acceptance (LOA-Official).

    2.6 Aura reserves the right to terminate the student’s registration if they:

    Provide false information or documents. Are involved in criminal activities. Violate laws or school regulations. Engage in misconduct or disruptive behaviour.

    1. VISA & IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS

    3.1 Non-EU students must obtain a valid student visa before travelling to France.

    3.2 Students must comply with all visa-related requirements set by French authorities. Non-

    compliance may result in termination and notification to the immigration authorities.

    1. ATTENDANCE & ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

    4.1 A minimum 75% attendance is required for eligibility to sit for final exams and internships.

    4.2 Students falling below the attendance threshold may be required to take additional courses at their own expense.

    4.3 Poor attendance may lead to termination, in which case no visa extension documents will be provided.

    4.4 Students must participate fully in their studies, including attending lectures, submitting

    assignments, and completing exams.

    4.5 Internships are a mandatory part of the programme and must be attended without

    absenteeism. Aura will endeavour to provide interviews for the internships with its partner

    companies but cannot guarantee placement. The final decision is made by the partner company.

    4.6 The curriculum may be updated based on industry requirements, and students must comply with any changes.

    1. FEES & PAYMENT POLICY

    5.1 Tuition fees are non-transferable and non-refundable after payment received except for a visa refusal.

    5.2 Students must pay the full tuition and administrative fees before receiving the LOA-Official.

    5.3 Only students who have completed full payment will be allowed to commence their programme.

    5.4 Fees cover tuition and administration only; additional expenses (books, uniforms,

    accommodation, etc.) are the student’s responsibility.

    5.5 Year 2 and year 3 programs must be paid in full at least 2 months before the official start date of the new academic year for the program in which the student originally enrolled.

    5.6 Refund Request Submission:
    All refund requests must be submitted using the official refund request form provided by Aura. Incomplete requests or failure to use the correct form may result in processing delays or denial.

    5.7 Refund Policy in Case of Visa Refusal: In the event of a visa refusal, students may defer to the next intake or submit a refund request.
    Refunds are applicable to tuition fees only; administration and processing fees are non-refundable.

    Refunds will be processed approximately 90 days from the original programme intake date, provided that:
    – A complete refund request form is submitted (available upon request);
    – All required supporting documents (e.g. visa refusal letter) are received;
    – No false information or forged documentation was provided.

    Aura reserves the right to adjust the timeline due to factors outside its control (e.g. international banking delays, administrative procedures).

    Refunds are issued in batches during the second and fourth weeks of each month. While we strive to meet the stated timeline, occasional delays may occur due to external banking or administrative constraints. We appreciate your understanding in such cases.

    5.8 Fraudulent Applications:
    In the event a student is found to have submitted fraudulent, misleading or forged documents at any stage of the application or visa process, Aura reserves the right to reject the application, withhold any refund, and notify the relevant authorities.

    5.9 External Financial Responsibility:
    Aura is not responsible for any financial loss, travel bookings, or external costs incurred by the student (including accommodation, visa appointment fees, insurance, etc.) before or after a visa decision.

    1. ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORTATION

    6.1 Students are responsible for their own travel arrangements to France.

    6.2 School off campus accommodation is subject to availability and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The school does not guarantee housing.

    6.3 Students must arrange their own meals and transportation. Aura does not provide food or local transport services.

    1. GENERAL RULES & CODE OF CONDUCT

    7.1 The Student must adhere to all school rules, policies, and French laws.

    7.2 Any involvement in illegal activities (drug use, violence, fraud, etc.) will result in immediate expulsion and reporting to French authorities.

    7.3 Absconding from studies or failing to report to the school will lead to visa cancellation and

    notification to French immigration authorities.

    7.4 The school reserves the right to modify its rules and regulations based on government policies or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., pandemics, national emergencies).

    7.5 Aura reserves the right to adjust the intake schedule and campus location as needed.

    7.6 Force Majeure: Aura shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in its obligations caused by events outside its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, war, public health emergencies, or disruptions to global financial systems.

    1. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY

    8.1 Aura complies with the French Data Protection Act and will process student data securely.

    8.2 Student information may be shared with necessary third parties, including government agencies, academic bodies, and potential employers.

    8.3 Students will be informed of any data-sharing activities where required.

    1. COMPLAINTS & DISPUTES

    9.1 Students may submit complaints or suggestions to info@aura-group.com.

    9.2 Any disciplinary issues may lead to warnings, probation, or termination.

    9.3 Disputes shall be governed by French law, and any legal matters will be handled in French courts.

    1. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & SIGNATURES

    By signing this contract, the student confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the terms outlined in this document.

    This contract is final and binding upon signature and overrides all prior communications or representations, whether verbal or written. No changes may be made unless confirmed in writing by Aura’s legal representative.
